The Best Man Holiday

Can you believe that Christmas is next month???? And yes, I already have my Christmas wish list together, have you made yours? I would like a Keurig, a retina ipad mini, a hair steamer and a partridge in a pear tree...now if only someone could pass that info on to my BF and Santa :) please and I will love you forever and ever??!

I went to a screening of The Best Man Holiday with my bestie recently and it is definitely a must see! I recommend taking a pack of tissue because you will laugh, cry and cry while your laughing. I haven't seen The Best Man since like 2001 and I had difficulty placing some of the characters in the begining so I definitely recommend watching it prior to seeing this one.

I knew it would be a looooong wait and I wanted to be comfortable (and warm). I threw on a pair of kitten heels with some jeans and a sweatshirt. I found my sweatshirt at Forever 21, and my heels and clutch are both thrifted.

I won't ruin the plot for those of you who have yet to see it. Aside from drooling over my husband (let a girl dream) Morris Chestnut and his lovely chocolaty body, It really makes you reflect and appreciate the family, friends and relationships you have.

It is so easy to get caught up with all the day to day happenings of our own lives, and unknowingly take the people you care about for granted. I make an effort to reach out to all of my close friends and family at least once a week. My friends and I also plan a monthly ladies night/day out.

Are you planning on going to see The Best Man Holiday? How about calling up a few of your friends and making it a ladies night out?

Quick Tip: Sign up for emails about free movie screenings in your area at http://www.usaaudiences.com/. Be sure to show up at least an hour early for the screenings!

Stay tuned,
Eb
