New Year, Thrifted Sequins

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I cant believe that 2012 is over!! It was an amazing year full of ups, downs and plenty of surprises and I am grateful to have made it through.

I am in the process of moving into a new place and it took soooooooo much longer then I thought. I swear, I did not realize how MUCH clothing and shoes I have smh I didn't finish packing and putting up blinds until 10:00pm and so I thought I would miss out on all NYE festivities.

Surprisingly my BF and I were able to shower, get dressed and make it out of the house and to the hotel by 1120pm, talk about cutting it close lol We  had the chance to relax, listen to a live band and enjoy complimentary champagne and party favors. I had a really nice time and we even "broke it down" on the dance floor!

I wore a vintage 80s AJ Bari (I love his designs) fully sequined dress that I found at the thrift store for $20. It was a little big so I tried to sew it with my trusty sewing machine and broke the needle on one of the beads *sigh* I ended up having to sew it by hand. I paired it with a pair of chain detail Zara heels (Zara is having a bomb sale) and a clutch. Since it was cold I threw on a coat that I also found at the thrift.
How was your NYE?? Wishing you all a happy and prosperous 2013 full of fun, family, fashion and friends!

Stay Tuned,
Eb
