Make it Mondays: Easy Tribal Nails

Hair done, nails done! oh we fancy huh?! Lol with this tutorial I'm gonna help you ladies get fancy in the comforts of your own home!

I love getting my nails done but I hate waiting! So awhile ago I decided to take the $25 I planned on spending at the nail shop and using it to buy nail supplies for home instead. Over time, I've ended up with tons of polish, studs, foil, flowers...uhmmmm basically this:

Today, I'm going to show you how to do an easy tribal print nail design! So easy that you will be done with both hands in less than 10 minutes! Come on, don't be scared. If you mess up, you can call it a creative masterpiece OR you can always remove it with a swipe of nail polish remover lol
Now grab these items and let's get started:

Clean dry and filed nails, Hot Pink Polish, Black polish, Black Nail striper, White nail striper, Base coat, Top Coat, Polish remover, Cotton Balls, and Q-tips (if you make a mess like i do)!

I always start with a base coat since it helps your manicure last longer, cover all nails with the base coat and allow a couple of minutes to dry:

Next, paint all your nails a Bold color, I chose hot pink. Allow it to dry for a couple of minutes:

Take your black and paint a stripe down both sides of your nail, as you can see it does NOT have to be perfect lol:

While the black dries, take your white stiper and make C or leopard print shapes down the center pink area of the nail:

Then make straight lines on both sides of the black:

Moving on to the next solid pink nail, use the black striper to make C or leopard print shapes down the center:

Then take your white striper and make lines down both sides:

Allow the nails to dry for about 5 minutes and then apply your top coat.

Here's a quick tip: Use Q-tips dipped in your nail polish remover to clean up your nail edges after they have dried.

Heres the finished design:

Now call me lazy because I only put a design on two of my nails BUT you can add it to however many you like. Also while i used pink, black and white, you can have fun experimenting with different colors.

Stay tuned,
Eb
