Wear it Wednesdays: Tribal Wedges

In the last episode of Make it Mondays, I showed you how to make a version of Aldo's Tribal wedges. I fell in love with the pair that I made and could not wait to wear them out. I went to see a comedy show with my girls and this is the outfit that I put together:

The pants and top are thrifted and altered and the shoes and purse are made by Meeee!

For this look i wanted to stick with a solid color top and bottom since the shoes and purse are such a busy print. I also wanted them to be the focal point of the outfit.

I purchased the harem pants from the thrift and when I got home they were tooo tight (workout needed immediately) *sigh* so I removed the side seam and added in some stretchy lace material that I had. Sewed it back together and they fit perfectly :)

I also found a battered n bruised 80s red purse for $1 at the thrift. I instantly knew I wanted to use it to match the tribal wedges! So using the fabri-tac glue I applied the fabric to the purse and made a matching bow! It's very simple and only took about 10 minutes to complete :)

So ladies, What do you think of my look?

Stayed tuned,
